“We then see it is supplying a canine head with oxygenated blood. The head is shown to respond to external stimuli. It’s eyes blinked under a powerful light. The salivary glands responded to citric acid smeared on the dogs chops. It’s ears cocked forward at a loud noise.”

GOOD TIMES!

GOOD TIMES!

The Third Ear

Instructions:

1-   Put ear plugs in ears.

2-   Smear petroleum jelly around the external ears (but not in the canal).

3-   Gently press a cotton ball into each ear

4-   Wrap ears with packing tape, then cover with duct tape.

5-   Put sound isolation headphones on.

6-   Attach a copper funnel to your mouth.

As you deny the ability to hear with both ears, all sounds become automatically redirected and are heard through your Eustacchian tubes and both sides of the ear drum at once, and through your skeleton.  Over a short period of time, the sound of yourself moving about in the world around you grows overwhelmingly loud. Shortly thereafter, one begins to hear with their third ear.

(Update: For health and safety concerns, replace objects in ears daily or every other day.)

George Kuchar “Route 666 was one of George’s weather diaries, in which he rented a hotel room in Oklahoma and waited for tornadoes.  In Nirvana of the Nebbishites, his cat Blackie and a marionette named Pepe wander through George’s magic marker landscapes.” - Doug Skinner
